READ l BHRC CHAIRPERSON ATTY. ABDUL RASHID P. KALIM IN HIS STATEMENT OF CONGRATULATIONS TO THE 2022 BAR PASSERS AS THEY TAKE THEIR LAWYER'S OATH AND SIGN THE ROLL OF ATTORNEYS

Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem

Assalamu’Alaikum Wa Rahmatulahi Wa Barakatuh.

I would like to send my warmest regards to all the bar passers who took their oath yesterday and signed the Roll of Attorneys at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC). This event marks your first day as fully-pledged lawyers who are ready to embark on this tedious legal profession.

As you pursue this new journey, I urge you to remember the essence of upholding the values of the legal profession: integrity, honesty, fairness, and justice. As officers of the court, you hold a great responsibility to serve the people and the law and to protect the rights of every individual.

We should always aim for excellence, never stop learning, and adhere to the realities of justice and order. Bear in mind that your actions and decisions as lawyers have a significant impact on the lives of others. Utilize your knowledge and skills to make a positive difference in our current society.

As a practitioner of the legal profession myself, this is my earnest call to my fellow Bangsamoro lawyers to dedicate their service and passion to the region. Let us be the pillars of change that the people seek.

The call for a progressive society starts within ourselves. Let us raise the Bangsamoro flag in whatever endeavor we choose to take. Be the brave souls that will navigate this region to greatness, In Shaa Allah.

Laging tandaan ang ating pinagmulan at serbisyuhan ang mga kapatid na nangangailangan.

Once again, congratulations on this remarkable achievement. I wish you all the best as you enter this exciting new chapter of your lives.
