The event was graced by Honorable Marvic Mario Victor F. The MOA seeks to enhance cooperation and coordination in various programs and activities aligned with the respective mandates of both organizations. Key areas of focus include the deputation of lawyers, provision of legal assistance, and human rights education.

Commissioner Archie U. Buaya, MPA, Officer-in-Charge Chairperson of BHRC, stressed the paramount importance of this collaboration in strengthening the programs and services dedicated to promoting and safeguarding human rights in the region.

By joining forces, the BHRC and IBP Cotabato Chapter aim to maximize their collective expertise and resources to better serve the Bangsamoro community’s legal needs. The collaboration is expected to result in greater access to legal representation and assistance, thereby empowering Bangsamoro individuals and communities in asserting their rights.
