In his opening remarks during the recently concluded writeshop for the development of Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between Bangsamoro Human Rights Commission (BHRC) and Commission on Human Rights (CHR), BHRC Chairperson Atty. Abdul Rashid P. Kalim stated that “the monitoring of the peace process between the National Government and the Bangsamoro Government should be included in our advocacy in advancing human rights”.
He also emphasized that “the Bangsamoro people are not against the National Government, but we are against oppression”.
