The Bangsamoro Human Rights Commission (BHRC) mourns the passing of our beloved Mufti Abuhuraira A. Udasan, the Grand Mufti of the Bangsamoro.

For us, Mufti Udasan was a staunch supporter of human rights and an important partner of the BHRC. He lived his life for the sake of Allah SWT. We sought his guidance in implementing our work with an Islamic lens.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, and the entire Bangsamoro community during this difficult time.

May Allah SWT grant him the highest place in Jannah.
