On October 17, 2024, the Bangsamoro Human Rights Commission (BHRC) recently concluded a courtesy meeting with the Moro Against Racial Injustice Alliance Movement (MARIAM) Inc. During the meeting, each organization presented its mandates, programs, and activities to identify the possible areas of collaboration.

The Moro Against Racial Injustice Alliance Movement Inc. (MARIAM Inc.) is firmly committed to championing diversity, inclusion, equity, and belonging (DIEB), specifically focusing on women’s rights. In a rapidly evolving world where communities are increasingly interconnected, it is crucial to protect and promote the rights of all individuals, especially those marginalized due to their gender, race, or culture.

As part of its commitment to protect and promote the rights of every Bangsamoro, the BHRC continuously conducting coordination with other line agencies and civil society organizations (CSOs) that will help in its human rights advocacies in the Region.
